Help Im getting my braces?! Will I need to have my teeth extracted???!!?
Im getting my braces on tuesdaii n im not so sure I want em.
First of all i dont even know how long i may have to wear dem buh i dont want to wear them for that long as well. the main issue is because of my molars.
Any way I hear if you have a small jaw they take out 4 of your teeth either after or before getting braces. I HAVE A SMALL JAW!
and i wud now becos alot of people in my yr have dem and dey have had sum teeth taken out.
any advise on whether i shud listen to the orthodontist when they tell me to remove my teeth or forget about it for the better??
and any other tips on braces and taking care of teeth wud be helpful
i had braces for 2 years and had to have 2 teeth taken out, which hurt and was numb for a day or two. tbh its the anesthetic injection that hurts more than having your teeth taken out. after that i had a take-out retainer brace for another 2 years, but i didnt have to wear that all the time. you shouldn’t worry about it since 2 years is hardly nothing since it will leave your teeth straight for the rest of your life! braces r pretty easy to take care of too, just be careful when u brush your teeth coz the wires are very delicate. i found using mouthwash helped a lot when cleaning them:):):) its seriously nothing to stress over and it will all be for the best in the end!
Hey,
You should want braces they cool, you get to choose your colors… =)
You wll probably need braces for about 2+ years, which nearly everyone needs to have them in for this long anyways..
Um, if you have a small jaw they don’t always take out 4 teeth. Sometimes they take out a few but its nothing to worry about it doesn’t hurt much when you have teeth taken out.
Yes you SHOULD listen to the orthodontist if they tell you that they have to remove your teeth. The orthodontist isn’t there to be mean and to make you feel sad, they’re there to make your teeth straight and wight.
GOOD LUCK!!! ox

its really not so bad. they give you laughing gas and you cant feel anything. I had 6 teeth pulled when i was getting braces.

Okay, So I’ve had braces for the last Seven years. SEVEN years… I’m getting them off FINALLY in 4 or 5 months. But anyway, I have a very small jaw as well, but that didn’t make a difference to the teeth they pulled out. <I’ve had 6 pulled>
I would get them they help so much, I would look like a total hillbilly if I didn’t have them.
I just got them tightened A couple days ago, and they kill. Seriously My teeth hurt, but I think it’s it’s all worth it in the end. I’ve been through this for seven years, and it seriously sucks, so count your blessings that you probably wont have it for as long as me.
So just get them, and it’ll be over soon and you’ll have nice teeth.
Michelle | Mar 18, 2010
Get them. I’m 11 and I still have them. Lets just say, before I had them, my 2 top front teeth looked like this ~. They didn’t hurt until the night i got them. Then it hurt REALLY bad, but now its worth it.
Mine are perfect now! My baby teeth don’t get loose though, so i had a LOT of teeth in my mouth. But I got a lot pulled in my life.
Anyways, it only hurt a little to eat after about 4 days, then another 3 and I felt nothing. It takes awhile to get used to.
I have a prettyy small jaw, but I would’ve gotten teeth pulled anyway, so I can’t help you there.
Getting baby teeth pulled doesn’t hurt, it’s just a little scary. What they do, is first they numb yer mouth with some gross tasting numby stuff, I hate it. Then they give you a shot in yer gums that you can barely feel. Then they take it out. Don’t worry, the shot makes them loose. After that, they give you a pad type things and you have to keep them in the spots to soak up the blood.
If it’s adult teeth yer getting pulled, ask your parent if they’ll pay for Amnesia. Believe me, you won’t want to, and i did NOT want to let them do this to me. I was scared, and I was freaking out before, and I was crying, and i was sooo freaked out. But then when I got to the Oral Surgeon, they had me lay down in the chair, and then they put some things on me to listen to my heart beat. Then they put an IV in my hand(sounds worse that what it is) that I barely felt. At first, I was going to get a prescription for Elma Cream, to numb it. But it was 52$ so we didn’t. When they put the tiny IV in my hand, i barely felt anything. It felt like a effortless pinch. Then as I was talking to the dentist I remember asking him, how long does it take before I fall asleep? Then he said about 30 seconds, then I woke up in a different room by my mom and dad. I was seeing double up and down, and my dad had to carry me to the car because I was dizzy. On the way home I was really tired and I eventually felt like I was going to puke for about 10 seconds, then it went away for a couple minutes, then it came back then it did it again about 4 more times, But I never did. Then I fell asleep, then I woke up at my drive way and my mom carried my to the couch and I slept for about a half hour. Then I woke up and I wasn’t seeing double and I felt fine. The only thing to get used to is the empty holes where your teeth used to be.

Should I submit this editorial to my school paper, or is the point too abstract?
As a small town girl, I know what it’s like to dream. It’s part of our definition; we dream like gravity is a sheer seven letter word and the least of all things that will keep us down.
And when she morphs into a designer and moves away to the big city in the fashion magazine she won’t forget this place, there’ll be a stainless steel-framed picture of her and her friends on a lifeguard stand in the top drawer of her dresser, the one beneath the window that spies the Eiffel Tower. Gravity won’t keep her here.
And he from your math class with the Playboy, he who always has all the answers somehow, he’s going straight to the West Coast to the top intensive neurological care hospital in the world where he’ll perform hemispherectomies and lobectomies and spinal cord rejuvenations with a scalpel in his hand like he holds the wand to the world. And gravity tugs on him just enough to keep 508-457-8134 as number seven on his speed dial. She who dreams in the mirror at you, don’t be fooled, she’s not dreaming. She’s wishing.
From Seaview Boulevard, Doctor looks out upon the ocean from the life that his Playboy built. The pages that dictated to him and the images that began to replace the valid figures in his life. The men on page after page became his friends, and then, no, his best enemies.
And, yes, Europe is treating her just fine, thank you for asking. Does she drink the fine wine? Occasionally, but the magazine doesn’t really like that. And the croissants are fine as well, thank you, but the magazine doesn’t really like that either. Why, you ask?
Well, does Miss Bonybrunettewearingafinepieceoftonimaticevskytonight eat croissants?
No, thank you, she does not.
Why, then they’d have to change her name.
Oh, but they look so buttery and flaky and good.
Tell that to Miss HauteCouturePariswearingafinepieceofskintonight.
She tried but the magazine didn’t like that. Skin is enough for you, darling, but not too much, gorgeous, the clothes look much finer hanging on sticks.
Gravity lost hold around page three.
And from over the top of my Teen Vogue and your CosmoGIRL! and her Inquirer (headline: America’s Next Top Waddle), the world looks quite small and quite beachscene and yes, she looks quite fabulous in that new bathing suit, thank you.
And the words creep off the page and into our hearts and souls thicker than seaweed and faster than a spilled bottle of ink

Can you tell me what you think of my novel's prologue?
The prologue is the start of a sub-plot, seperate from the main plot. Can you just tell me your impressions? Feedback and thoughts are much appreciate. It’s a fantasy, by the way.
Prologue
Somebody had been careless and left the door open. He peers absorbedly through the parted wooden lips, observing. Shining shells are placed over each pillar of strength. Ragged metal implements are thrust into their reluctant hands. Minds and hearts race, in competition with one another.
To his young mind, he sees a row of men off on an adventure. Off to battle, their armour and chainmail sliding on to them like an old skin.
To any other, they see a line of exposable tools. Tools that should be slaughtered mangled, hacked, torn apart in order to gain a petty patch of land. In order to fight evil; a far more moralistic reason than the former.
From the stretch of identical men, he spots a pair of eyes. His eyes. Also his Father

Why Is It That The Band In 2010 Is Nowhere Near As Big A Ratings Draw As The N.W.O Was In 1996?
Do you think it is because most wrestling fans in 1996 actually cared about Scott Hall and Kevin Nash so they abandoned the WWE in huge numbers and tuned in to see what they were going to do in WCW, where in 2010 it is a different story because in 2010 most wrestling fans do not give a flying phuck about what Scott Hall and Kevin Nash are going to do in TNA hence why the January 4th, 2010 episode of Impact did nowhere near as good rating as the May 1996 episode of Nitro where Scott Hall asked WCW if they wanted a war.
Back in 1996 Scott Hall was actually relevant in the wrestling world where in 2010 Scott Hall definitely is not relevant anymore.
The N.W.O in 1996 was actually something new and groundbreaking for the wrestling industry, where The Band in 2010 is just old rehashed recycled trash. The bookers in TNA are too lazy to come up with some fresh new creative ideas, so they gave us The Band.
I believe you have answered your own question.
Hub | Feb 07, 2010
It is because The Band is no longer relevant in 2010. Guys like Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Six Pac, back in 1996 they was coming from WWE and was hot signs for WCW. Now, Scott Hall hasn’t appeared on TV in years, same with Six Pac, Kevin Nash isn’t really in that great of shape, the Hardcore main event on this week’s impact was probably the lamest Hardcore match I have ever seen, and it was very apparent that Nash wasn’t in really good shape, neither is Foley, and a Big Boot as the finish was so lame.
TNA should come up with fresh ideas, The Band just isn’t anything for fans to get excited about.

my ex has regular access by court order, ive never broken the agreement, can he take me back to court?
we went to court 6 years ago to obtain an order (fri 5.30pm-sun 5.30pm and alternate fridays 5.30-7.30pm) over the years we became friends and i allowed further access, including in my home, as suitable to both parties.recently things have become bitter again. I have asked him to change certain aspects of his parenting on his access times and no longer want him in my home. the points i want him to change are that i don’t want him to put nappies on my 5 year old daughter overnight as she has been dry at home for 6 months and that he should not have them sleeping in his bed with them. He lives in a 4 bed house with his parents so has plenty of room to provide them with their own room, he has never paid maintenance for them and works so has enough money to provide them with beds/mattress protectors, at 5 and 6 years old i do not think it is appropriate for them to be sleeping with him and i would rather they did not come home wanting to sleep in my bed! plus it is hampering my daughters development to put her in nappies, she comes home and wets the bed because she has had a nappy on at the weekend! instead of facing these issues he has become vindictive and is clutching at straws to criticise me as a parent. I have told him that if he wants to be like that and will not be responsible for the children i will return exactly to the court ordered access, no extras. he now threatens me with going back to court, does he have any right as i have never broken the court order?
thanks for your answers. yes my 6 year old is a boy. yes abuse is something that plagues my mind but i do have to try not to let my personal anger at him mar the fact that i do believe he loves the kids and i dont think he would abuse her. she was difficult to get dry at night hence being 5 before getting out of nappies, all my children were out of nappies by 2-3, i believe she wets at his purely cos she is aware she has a nappy on, which is why she wets on coming home, in her sleep she forgets she no doesnt have one on! your right i think he does need counselling, the man just will never accept any fault and turns it into mud slinging between us, he says if i reduce access im hurting the kids, i believe hes hurting them by trying to fight me and refusing to listen to my advice on parenting!
i think my decision is made! i will seek legal advice asap. i agree the courts wont care much about most issues ive been thru the system enough to know how it works, however as ive never broken the access arrangements and he already has what is the standard for non-resident parent, plus he does not have his own home so will never gain residency, i dont see what he can expect to gain from taking me to court? other than trying to tear me down! i have tried to resolve this with him i wrote him a letter asking him nicely to make changes, hes chosen to make things more and more difficult. the problem is hes angry with me and doesnt seem to care how that affects the kids, he says im doing the same and im sick of always backing down because he wont take responsibility! surely holding up their development is unfair to them?
no he caNT
gemma d | Feb 06, 2010
Sounds kinda weird to me kids should have their own bed. The real issue is what is wrong with him? He don’t sound like he is all there and living with his parents. What is a nappie, you mean a diaper. Yes he need counseling.
You take the blue pill Jackhole! | Feb 06, 2010
No i quite agree with you its hard work to get them dry at nite !!
and he is undoing your hard work ??
He certainly should,nt be allowing them in his bed
Your children are gettin mixed messages and it should stop
You are well within your rites to do this
dot | Feb 06, 2010
The way you use words leads me to believe that you do not live in the United States, which makes this a more difficult question to answer. In the USA either parent can go to the courts to modify the child custody order at any time. A daughter who is dry at night (consistently?) at mom’s home and not at Dad’s house makes you wonder why she wets there. Perhaps counseling for her might be appropriate. Having kids in bed is a personal preference thing. I am assuming the six year old is a boy but you do not say. Because of the high incidence of molestation it would be prudent to make sure that the bed wetting is not due to the fact of abuse while bed sharing and her need to share your bed is because alone in a bed feels vulnerable. I am probably worried for nothing and answering more than your question. Most counties in USA have websites that help you understand family law. Perhaps that is true in your area too, otherwise there are always books at the library that are filled with information.
Thea | Feb 06, 2010
Ha Ha, let him take you back to court. While you’re there tell the judge exactly what you’ve said here. He will be told that he can’t have them in his bed etc. and it will be the judge saying it. In the meantime, go back to the old court order you have, he can’t stop you on it.
Sunny | Feb 06, 2010
he has to do the same things you do at your home this is confusing the children bed wetting is normal and should not be punished .
they will grow out of that .
you must have words with him to stop this practise and do what you do that’s the right way .
no he should not have them in his bed mornings waking up time is ok .
i can see your doing a great job he has to toe the line .
may be a good idea later if he doesn’t comply to have a word with a solicitor send him a letter of intent unless he stops acting the way he is.
i refer to what is happening and what you want .
which is not unreasonable try again with your ex for him to see the need to give the kids continuity . after all they are the most important thing here .
if after all the trials and pleads he still does it then revert back to your court order and see your solicitor again he will be on your side .
at least you have tried for the sake of the kids .
above all the kids come first not you not him good luck i hope he can see the light and that you both can love and enjoy your children take care
whyme | Feb 06, 2010
He can take you back to court any time for any reason. However since he is not paint maintenance it is probably not in his best interest. I would ask for it if he does. Most courts don’t care about how you parent. That is up to you. If you all can’t agree on something, they really don’t care as long as nothing illegal is being done.As for the nappy and sleeping arrangements (as an early childhood educator) if she were really ready to be dry all night, she would not matter what. I think them sleeping with him is pushing it at 5 years old.

Why is it so hard for me to find a girlfriend?
I’m 20 years old, I go to college (basically an all-boys school, 1% girls, 99% boys). I have quite a few friends, however, over the past few years most of these friendships have faded away, I still have a select group of friends left though. Currently the only female ppl I know are girlfriends of friends (as in, boyfriend-girlfriend relationship). I haven’t been in a serious relationship for 4 years (I’ve had 1 fling) and I’m still a virgin.
I spend most of my days at school or at home, I go out around 3 evenings a week, doing normal stuff, however, I never meet new ppl. When I go out I usually chill with that select group of friends, we go see a movie, we hang out at either ones house, we go out for dinner etc (basically, as I said, we do all sorts of stuff but these things never involve meeting new people). My friends are all starting to settle down and they don’t feel the need to find new friends (in my case, a girlfriend). It’s been like this for a few years now and it never really bothered me that much. But lately, I’m getting these mood swings, going from happy to really unhappy in a matter of seconds. And the unhappy mood tends to stay alot longer.
Some more info about me: I’m not ugly or mentally retarded, I’ve had compliments concerning my looks before and ppl consider me smart. I don’t wear glasses, my teeth are straight etc. I’m a nice guy, I treat women with respect and I’m a great listener. Basically the only thing ppl might dislike about me is me being rather skinny or ppl not liking my personality.
I’ve met girls that I find myself attracted to before (I’m really picky), but they all turned out into nothing. They either fall in love with my best friend or they are already taken.
Where I’m going to is:
How can I find a girlfriend….? I’ve considered going out as in going to parties but I dislike dancing and I dislike getting drunk, which is basically what parties are all about. I’ve considered dating sites but that, imo, is a big leap and I feel that I’m not yet desperate enough to take it.
I’m growing tired of not being able to feed my growing need of affection… I don’t even care about sex, I’d just like someone to hug, someone to hold, to cuddle with, someone that’s there when I’m having a hard time and someone that understands what I truly feel or think etc. I truly want someone to share my life with but I don’t want to lose my other friends by doing looking for that person.
I’d like to thank you all for answering so far, you’re really giving me ideas and helping me to figure out the problem.
However, there’s one issue that I didn’t really go over, usually when I’m… well, me, I’m kind of a teaser, teasing ppl with all kinds of stuff. But when I talk to a girl I’ve never seen before I just turn into a lapdog, and I unconsciously supress the teasing personality. After the conversation is over I come up with all the things I should’ve said to tease her, but it’s too late by then…
Once again, thank you all, you’re really helping out. It’s also a bit comforting to see other people having thesame problems (Sorry for saying that, but I gotta be honest).
NO! Don’t kill yourself. That’s ludicrous. We’re going to get through this. Like a champion. You’ve still got so much to live for and we’re going to show them that you can sing just as good as anyone else.
Trivium | Feb 01, 2010
Alright so one of your problems may be that you don’t have very many boys at your school;). But you should try to go to the mall or another big hang out place and scope the area for girls. I know so many guys who do this, and if you see a girl you think you might like, be assertive and go say hi and if she seems into you ask for her number. If your not ugly this should def work. O and also if your not into the party scene, don’t go there.
Brittany | Feb 01, 2010
here are you mistakes:
treating women with respect
looking for someone to hug and hold
not using a dating site (you know yahoo has one, it’s free)
not going where girls are
if you aren’t going to put yourself out there, at least put the girls out. try rohypnol in their drinks. then you can hug and hold them all they want AND you can be as picky as you like to be.
you’re only 20. how about making friends with some girls first? or play in your league, that was a major issue of a friend of mine. 5s go with 5s, 6s go with 6s, and so on
that guy | Feb 01, 2010
Try doing things without your friends. Go somewhere of interest to you that you’d most likely like in a girl. If you like to bowl, go bowling. If you like to go to arcades go to an arcarde. Maybe you’re just looknig in all the wrong places. Instead of looking where to meet "new ppl". Go somewhere of interest to you, that way you have something in common with her. Don’t go to club to meet a girl if you’re uncomfortable with the scenery.
Danielle | Feb 01, 2010
I think what’s holding you back is one, your pickiness and two, you not meeting new people. I’m sure there are places you can go where you’ll find single people without even trying to hard. And also, if you just want someone to hold, then what they look like shouldn’t matter. I’m not saying drop dead ugly, but don’t always go for you high standards. When you begin to meet new people (attractive or not), you’ll find out more about their personality and if they’re similar to you. Then you can grow to be attracted to them if it’s truly someone you like.
Maria | Feb 01, 2010
hmmmmmm
well dude your problem is your not meeting people, I understand not liking to dance or get drunk I dont either, I have a few drinks but not alot and I really dont(or cant) dance, but i still go to the partys for the social part of it ya know? I’ve meet alot more ppl then I expected who do the same thing too ya know?
Other then that man I suppose its the site for ya!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with you. You are a great catch and like you said you dont want to go out and get drunk in order to get a gf. The problem is maybe that you are not like 90%of guys your age horny dogs chasing girls around for one purpuse only. You are more on a serious side.
You are going to find the right person one day when you will at least expect it. In the meaN TIME just relax and have some fun.
take care

You sound just like me.
Seriously, I’m like that too. I haven’t found a Boyfriend for 2 years now.
I know I’m young for thinking about all this stuff, but I get really happy to unhappy in just seconds as well. So, I really know what your going through.
I guess it’s hard for you to find a girlfriend because you either don’t put yourself out there as much or because your just not ready. The reason why I think you don’t put yourself out there as much is because, well like you said "You never meet new people". Go someplace new with your friends, like a club or something and try to find a girl and make a relationship with her.
I don’t know, but you sound like a really cool guy. I’m surprised all the ladies have been falling for your best friend and not you. I hope I helped and sorry I can’t give you a hug to cheer you up. :p

What I have been trying to do is get my friends to actually help me find a girl that I like(I am very picky as well)
Just try to be on the lookout ALOT when you are out doing stuff, there could be a girl right behind you and you wouldn’t know about it if you’re concentrating on your friends. So be out with friends and have fun but subconciously be scanning everyone around you. I always do this, and I have met a few cool girls by doing so..(none ever turned out to like me like that but it still worked) Don’t go to parties where everyone is getting drunk, because you’ll probably end up with the girl who is too drunk to remember you the morning after. lol As for dating sites, you’re not there yet
But like I said, be subconciously scanning the people wherever you go, and try to talk to as many girls as you can while you’re out. Talk about it with your friends and they will understand why you are talking to 37 different girls instead of them :P.
One last thing, I bet you anything the reason you feel so down about it is because you are constantly hanging out with your other guy friends who are already in a relationship, and it makes you feel left out(I know the feeling and it blows ass)
So just try out what I said and I think if you’re lucky enough you will meet someone!
And wish me luck too, were in the same boat man!

i think that you are just looking for it a little to much. I know that love is important in life. but the real meaning in love, is that you are happy with yourself that you want to share it with someone else. If you can be happy with who you are that you’ll never find HER. she is out there and you will find her…everyone is gonna have somebody, sometimes people wont find the perfect match and that’s either because they are asking for the impossible or that just want something so bad that they will take anything and look for something that is right there. The other thing is from a girls perspective a girl will look for someone that will treat her wrong and not care. Its our society. We look for a struggle and it isnt right. but you will find her…dont give up hope yet your still young..20 is only like 5 mins outta your whole life. dont dewell on it….
mission for you:
the next girl you see ask her out 9 out of 10 she’ll say yes.
don’t change anything, be yourself and if you get knocked down
get right back up and ask another girl.

pretty well-thought read
I think you want to take advantage of your energy while you have it and overextend yourself a bit right now to meet more people. You will be graduating in two years?
Straight up, you will want to work on the dancing (and maybe next year the drinking) thing. You need to find a way to enjoy it, even if it means digging up the "How to Dance at a Rave - Official" video off the web and busting it out. It’s not necessarily a segue into meeting new people, but it can be and certainly keeps the momentum going once you do.
Best advice for someone in your position is to work the usual spots to meet healthly upbeat people - off-campus gym, recreation classes at another campus, and hiking/biking/rock climbing clubs. You should take some time to work the area too…force yourself to eat at new restaurants, stay at a bed and breakfast, go to all the venues within 1 - 2 hours and get yourself on all their mailing lists. If you don’t know how to cook enough meals for two weeks, you’d better learn that as well before you go too far down the road.
If I had a younger sister I think she could do much worse than meet someone like you.
Not sure what else to offer - good luck

IMDB rating: 6.80 Plot: Robbie Hart is singing the hits of the 1980s at weddings and other celebrations. He also can keep the party going in good spirit, he knows what to say and when to say it. Julia is a waitress at the events where Robbie performs. When both of them find someone to marry and prepare for their weddings, it becomes clear that they’ve chosen wrong partners. |

Romantic comedy-no obvious sex-fluff and little to no drama-got any?
I mean something like 50 first dates, The wedding singer, or Never been kissed. Fluffy, cute, and funny. Stay away from anything thats mostly dramatic. Not in the mood. Just want something I can turn my brain off to.
Dont say Juno. Its recommended way too often for just about everything. Like everyone else on this planet and their grandma I saw it.
I started watching Yes man. Love it. Ty. But I copied all the others as well for another time. Thanks everyone.

Try renting "Murphy’s Romance", with James Garner & Sally Field. (1985) It is not a traditional modern age rom-com, but it is a good one.

LEGALLY BLONDE: Cute, fluffy, comedic…very easy to get into and mild drama
WILD CHILD: Newer, lesser known movie with Emma Roberts in it. Has a "teenage flick" kinda vibe.
WHAT A GIRL WANTS: The most drama out of the three; but is still very light.
Best movies for the description you’re giving

IMDB rating: 6.10 Plot: FBI agent Barney Coopersmith is assigned to protect former Mafia figure turned informant Vincent Antonelli. In the witness protection program one is supposed to keep a low profile, but that is something that Antonelli has trouble doing. Coopersmith certainly has his hands full keeping Antonelli away from the Mafia hitmen who want to stop him testifying, not to mention the nightclubs… |

What do you think about the Dead Weather?
i tried to like the album, but i could only get into "Hang you from the heavens"
it seems they are all flash and no substance. I think they need some direction as to what type of songs they really want to make, are they a heavy band? are they blues?
To me they lack any vision, and they’re kind of like posers if you think about it.
By their album art, and all black get-ups, it seems like they are a hard rock/metal band, but they make songs like "Cut like a buffalo" and "Treat me like your mother" those are pop tart songs. So why put off the appearance of gloom and doom?
And after watching "It might get loud" i sort of wonder, is Jack White really a legend or flavor of the moment?
give me your reviews….
I like the Dead Weather, but you’re right they are kinda posers. They dress in black and that’s not really how their music "is"…Jack White is a great musician, not exactly a legend yet, and I personally think he was the best in the White Stripes. The Dead Weather aren’t that original, but their songs are pretty good.
Screeching Cactus | Feb 06, 2010
I’m not as big a fan of Dead Weather than i thought i would be…. but they’re alright considering theyre a bit of a rag-tag group that he just put together. Jack’s best band is defintiely the Raconteurs for me, because that’s hen he branched out into everyhtign, rather than his (admiittedly awesome) blues-punk root with the White Stripes. Hope the Raconteurs come back soon and can’t wait for the new Stripes album.

I'm Speechless: Obama is for change after all?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/space/20100201/s c_space/nasasfaroutnewplans
He is actually encouraging commercial space tourism when throwing out the NASA manned space programs. My head is spinning. This is something that Ron Paul would do when it comes to space.:)
Are you kidding me? This is the best thing that ever happened to space travel. It means that YOU can go to space and it is obvious you never even read the article or my question.
Obama and Ron Paul are morons.
Larry | Feb 01, 2010
Obama is anti-intellectual. Scientific exploration MUST NEVER BE STOPPED not even if people are starving.

obama bin ladin
Cody | Feb 01, 2010
Obviously he is for change… However, why change stuff when it works fine already…
Michael James | Feb 01, 2010
He is only for the "ching ching" in his OWN pocket!
Taterbug* | Feb 01, 2010
yes why should we be first in new technology and research when we can let everyone else do it and then buy products from there hard work. why be leaders in industry when we can be consumers., obama is bringing the change that third world countrys want so they can be ahead of us.
barry | Feb 01, 2010
Conservatives will hate this.. They’re actually for bigger government, except when the Dem’s want it.
mike19772005 | Feb 01, 2010
I have liked the idea. I think NASA should have adopted some of these much earlier.
Pink Pistol | Feb 01, 2010
Lets ask BUSH!!!! oh wait…that’s right he doubled the national debt….
MaC | Feb 01, 2010
Actually it was a moon landing program that was cut.
Many other NASA programs are still funded.
Keith M | Feb 01, 2010
Obama just doesn’t want us going back to the moon because he’s afraid we’ll find the mother ship over on the dark side.
babbie | Feb 01, 2010
Obama’s not doing ANYTHING to change this country. He is doing virtually the same thing President Bush did. The recent turn down by New York to try the underwear bomber (i think it was, but it was some terrorist regardless) in lower Manhattan is a real blow to his campaign. He’s going to try him in Guantanamo Bay, JUST LIKE BUSH DID. He promised to have Guantanamo Bay shut down by the end of his first year as president, but did that happen?
And with the economic debt, Obama has spent more with his useless stimulus and bail-out packages than all other presidents before him, COMBINED.
I believe it was Ronald Regan that said something like, "Government will not fix the problem, Government IS the problem." This has never been more true than now.
The Government is too involved in the private sector now and is just making things worse every day.
I’ll finally be able to sleep easy when Obama is out of office and we have a Republican in the House cleaning up our current president’s mess.
